October 18th Program: Santiago 2023’s sport action begins with Baseball

The match between Chile and Mexico will be the first match of the continental competition, which officially opens this Friday.

Tuesday, October 17 .- A total of 421 medal events will take place at the Pan American Games Santiago 2023 and the dispute for the medals will begin this Wednesday with baseball and the exclusive first phase match between the local team Chile and Mexico, starting at 9:30 am, at the new baseball fields that were built in the Cerrillos district, southeast of the capital.

Host and North Americans form the Group A with Panama and Dominican Republic. Meanwhile, in the B Series, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia and Cuba will compete. The first two will qualify to the Super Round to define the pairings that will compete for the gold and bronze. Only the male category will compete and will be accompanied by female softball.
