Victoria’s Secret isn’t what it used to be. By 2019, the lingerie brand’s once-lauded annual runway show ceased to match its customers’ attitudes towards more diverse beauty and inclusion and, combined with reports that the head of the brand’s parent company fraternised with Jeffrey Epstein – who would tell young women he was a Victoria’s Secret model scout – its fall from grace was complete.

Controversy and dwindling sales aside, Victoria’s Secret nevertheless set the stage for some of the most successful supermodels of all time. Kim Kardashian recently posted a snippet of a new Skims campaign featuring legendary Victoria’s Secret alums Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel (who is still with VS), captioned, “It doesn’t get more iconic than this.”

Though many pointed out that four former Victoria’s Secret models were hardly in keeping with Kardashian’s “Fits Everybody” branding, the supermodels looked stunning nonetheless.

So who’s done the best since their days as an Angel? Here are the 12 richest former Victoria’s Secret Angels in 2022, ranked by net worth.

After joining the VS clan in 2000 with a US$25 million contract, Bündchen announced her departure from the company in 2006, saying in her memoir Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life: “as time went on, I felt less and less at ease being photographed walking the runway wearing just a bikini or a thong”.

These days, she spends time with her husband and two children, and channels her energy into working with social and environmental enterprises. Money continues to stream in from multimillion-dollar contracts with brands such as Chanel, Pantene and Carolina Herrera.
