CONCLUSION / SUMMARY
The United Nations has evolved significantly from where it
started. From dealing with issues of high politics such as war
and security threats, it has then evolved into a body that
addresses the overall situation of the world. The UN has
offered an avenue for states to discuss and formulate new
policies that will aid the entire international system and its
future. Through these conferences, states are able to address
issues regarding the environment and overall human and
national security.
Environmental security has grown to be the most important
form of security, as it deals with the management of resources
and environmental degradation. Without the environment, all
forms of institutions and life would cease to exist.
