    KINDS OF CONTRACT

    1. Consensual Contract - a contract that is perfected by mere


    consent or by the mere meeting of the minds between the
    contracting parties.

    Example: Contract of sale, contract of agency

    2. Real Contract - it is perfected from the moment that there is


    a delivery of the subject matter. It is not necessary that
    there is only a meeting of the mind, in a real contract,
    there must be the delivery of the intended subject matter in
    order to have a perfected real contract.

    Example: Contract complex, contract of deposit, contract of


    commodatum

    3. Unilateral Contract - a contract whereby there is only one


    party who will be required to perform the obligation.

    Example: Contract of insurance
