Square Voice Coil and Vented Spider
The square voice coil wire has higher density than the same length of round voice coil wire, resulting in more powerful output. The patent pending Vented Spider uses precisely designed air flows for sound tuning and cooling. In addition, the shape of the cap protects against dust to maintain high sound quality. Versatile Crossover Networks
Type-G networks provide more functions than others in this class. The tweeter circuit is a 12dB crossover and tweeter level is adjustable (0dB/–3dB/–6dB), achieved through the use of 5W cement resistors. The woofer circuit is a 6dB crossover. A second connector allows the crossover to be separated into two parts, which gives you much greater flexibility and convenience when installing the speaker.
Separate Woofer and Tweeter Installation
Here's a good way to give your customer added value (better sound!). You can cut the cable bridge to have a high-pass circuit board for tweeter installation in the dashboard and a low-pass circuit board for woofer installation in the door. The factory wiring can still be used, saving installation time. (After cutting the two parts, use heat shrink to prevent damage from humidity.)
