VINE MAPLE (Acer circinatum)

Vine maple is a deciduous small tree or large shrub (10-25 feet tall and wide) that will grow best in part to full shade but can grow in sun if well-watered.

The leaves turn beautiful shades of red in the fall, especially if planted in the sun.

The winged seeds also provide nice color in the late summer. The flowers are utilized by bees and a variety of birds eat the seeds.
