'Go Win It All!' Matthew Stafford's Post-Game Conversation with Jared Goff Revealed
Matthew Stafford's return to Detroit didn't exactly go as planned.
Not only did his Los Angeles Rams' season end at the hands of the Detroit Lions in heartbreaking fashion but he was also booed by the fans he spent 12 years with.
But despite the loss, in a now-viral post-game handshake, Stafford had nothing but encouragement for Lions QB Jared Goff
"Go win it all buddy," Stafford said.

And after a brief pause, Goff returned to offer Stafford some love as well.
“You’re one tough S.O.B., all right? I have so much respect for you," Goff said. "Keep going.”
Stafford then replied in kind.
“I appreciate you, brother," Stafford said. "Good luck, man. You guys are balling. Keep it going.”
Stafford, of course, was traded to Los Angeles in a deal involving Goff ahead of the 2021 season. In his inaugural season away from the Lions, Stafford successfully guided the Rams to a Super Bowl title.
The "swap" also created quite the storyline for the Wild Card Round in Detroit, with Goff leading the Lions to the first playoff win in 32 years.
As a result, the Stafford family has found themselves with allegiances of sorts to both franchises.
In fact, Stafford's wife Kelly also showed support for her former hometown team by taking to Instagram to congratulate the Lions.
"What a season.. and for it to end at Ford Field ♥️" Kelly Stafford in her post. "Already excited for this Rams team next season... And he will be back next year Detroit, but until then, go get you one!!!"
Although, Kelly Stafford did take a moment to call out Detroit fans for booing her children at the game.
"It's sports. The city wants to win. Everything is fair game," Stafford said, per the Detroit News. "Except the fans who booed my children...Other than that, I loved the atmosphere and the booing just gave my husband more fire. The more you love, the more you hate."
It's all love from the Staffords as they cheer on their former team in the next round, and maybe beyond.
