2. Remember the verbs preferir, querer, and empezar? We changed the e to ie in all the forms but vosotros and nosotros

Today we are going to learn about the verbs almorzar and poder • Remember these verbs are like preferir, querer, and empezar, because one of the letters will change. • Instead of changing the e to ie (like preferir, querer and empezar), this time we will change the o to ue in almorzar and poder. o ue 

5. Now, let’s conjugate almorzar 1. Draw box with six spaces and write the verb almorzar on top of it. almorzar (o  ue) 2. Now add the endings we already know for all our verbs

6. 3. Now since it’s an –ar verb we can add in the –a’s where they belong almorzar o  ue 4. Underline the root almorzar  almorzar

7. 5. Now remembering that the –o changes to ue. Let’s add in the rest. almorzar  almorzar (o to ue)

9. 3. Now since it’s an –er verb instead of adding an a we will ad –e’s where they belong poder o  ue 4. Underline the root poder  poder
