- 6. BEFORE DEATH COULD BE CAUSE OF DEATH BLEEDING WOUND, CLOTS AUTOPSY DIFFERENTIATES POST AND ANTE MORTEM IDENTIFYING CHARACTERISTIC FOR AN INDIVIDUAL
- 8. ANTE MORTEM WOUNDS • Immediate bleeding in the wound. • No lividity bruises • Blood clots formed. Blood might also jam the vessels. • Mesh like calcium structures seen on bone injuries. POST MORTEM WOUNDS • No bleeding. Some exceptions are seen in case of drowning and fall. • Lividity – due to gravity blood pools in lower arms and limbs. • No formation of clots. • Bone cracks are clearly visible without any calcium deposits or bridge formation.
