The battery has been fully charged and discharged (to 20% capacity) a few times now and I'm really pleased with the time available on battery - usually about 3 hours with computer operating at high performance albeit with display brightness reduced a little. On battery saving mode I'd expect to get even longer.

Was originally concerned about purchasing this battery after reading some of the other reviews regarding sizing and battery life. Battery arrived with a 74 percent charge on it so I used it like that until it ran down to a charge state. plugged it in to charge and it would only charge to 90 percent, used it like that seemed to work fine but before the next charge I rebooted the computer, it charged to 100 percent, I've used it for 2 sessions totalling one for 1hour and 32 mins left it in sleep mode for 2 days then used it this morning for another 38 mins. before needing charging. That's a total of 2 hours and 10 mins, that being said this machine is a 17 inch Dell and its always been a bit of a power pig. All and all I would say this battery currently is performing as well as the factory o
