Ported design for powerful bass

Big bass tone relies on moving a lot of air, and the ported design of the Portaflex PF-410HLF lets you move a lot of it. You get an extended frequency response (down to 30Hz) without sounding muddy or indistinct. And thanks to the switchable 1" horn, you can dial in just the right amount of high-frequency definition.

Hardwood construction for better sound quality

The PF-410HLF is constructed with 15mm poplar plywood, which is exceptionally more rigid than MDF or composite materials. This means less resonance, so you'll hear solid, defined bass tone instead of the sound of a cabinet shaking. Naturally, the strong construction means the PF-410HLF is ready for the rigors of the road.

AMAZING SOUND!

I recently purchased this cabinet as well as matching the PF115. All I can say is WOW!! I had an older and (very) used Ampeg 410 with a generic sub that I had been using for years and it was time to upgrade. This new combo is just powerful, clear highs and rumbling lows. I used this cab as a stand alone speaker last night and it just shook the roof. This combo is working out extremely well for both all of our outdoor and indoor gigs. Both cabinets exceed the reviews and for the money, it is a terrific purchase if you need a reliable and powerful amp. I am finally as loud as our drummer and guitarist. Lastly, suck it up and get the cabinet covers. A tad pricey for me but I regret not getting them yet. The tolex on these cabs is beautiful! The service was awesome. Thank you Sweetwater!

Beastly

My first 'big girl' amp. Omg. My bassist friends are jealous lol This thing has amazing sound. Paired with the Bugera head I got - holy heck. I volunteered the all day use of this bad boy to a music festival my band played at this summer and even what I call the pro bassists were stoked to play through this (I'm just a beginner). I love it but I would probably not buy it again only because I can't load it into my vehicle by myself, it's just too heavy. Having to ask for help is kind of embarrassing!!! Otherwise, it's everything you could ask for as far as the sound and tone.

Great Ampeg tone

I've had this Cab matched with the ampeg 115hlf and PF800 head for a year now and get compliments on my tone every performance. I usually play through an Ibanez sr655 bass. This cab is heavy, well built, and has great handles on the sides. I highly recommend these to guys looking for the classic tones of ampeg rigs.

This handles the lows, miss and highs

With this cabinet, I get stellar clean low end. It's a heavy cabinet but the cab comes with wheels. It responds well from low end, thick tones to snappy funky highs. It's a good match with my Ampeg PF-500. The amp and speaker are a great marriage of the tones I need for a variety of music.

Amazing!!

This amp cabinet is worth every penny! The clarity of the sound is a perfect match for my Portaflex 500W head. Blown away doesn"t quite match the effect for me. My only wish was that it had the flip top like the other portaflex cabs.
