Description
This story can be used both by parents and teachers! It addresses the main difference between playing hide-and-go-seek with friends (or adults) and hiding from adults on purpose.
Kids learn that they always need to tell adults know where they go and cannot simply hide from them, the two main reasons being getting hurt or getting lost.
Kids learn what places are never ok for hiding, like public spaces (park, grocery store, amusement park, mall, or other crowded areas), or inside and outside the school (hallways, bathrooms, playground, behind trees or fences).
Finally, kids learn that instead of hiding, they always need to learn adults know where they are going and return as soon as they can.
