These beautiful mindfulness visuals help students regulate their emotions just by holding each of their fingers for 1-2 minutes. These five finger holds are very effective and are a major part of Jin Shin Jyutsu, a traditional Japanese healing method. Each finger corresponds to one major emotion, so students can use this method at any time. Great for testing anxiety, anger outbursts, or negative emotions in general.
I have been using this method with my special education/gifted students with great success!
