Landforms: Shapes and Kinds of Land PLATEAU Mini Books for Next Gen Science

2nd grade students need to know different shapes and kinds of land found on Earth. This FREEBIE informational science landform mini book takes only one piece of paper but contains two pages of information plus a word search that helps your kids learn about a plateau. This activity was inspired to prepare students for the Next Generation Science Standard™ for 2nd grade. It lets students be creative and have fun yet learn too. Try this free resource with your students.

Students color the bubble letters and the borders on the cover page. Small drawings can be added if desired or if your students enjoy drawing. Students can do web searches to find additional information if you want to incorporate technology. Included is a website link (just click and search "plateau" to find photos and a definition) to help find the missing information to fill in. Or if you have your own lessons, incorporate this fun and educational activity.
