Microsoft introduces new generation of powerful Surface products

Microsoft has launched a range of new Surface products to offer performance and increase your productivity – these include the Surface Pro 6, the Surface Laptop 2, the Surface Studio 2 and Surface headphones.

The company also announced significant updates for Windows 10 and Office 365.

All of these new Surface products will be available from mid to late October.

SURFACE PRO 6

The Surface Pro 6 is the most powerful Surface device to date and is powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Quad Core processor, making it 67 per cent faster than the previous model.

The versatile Windows 10 product can act as your laptop or tablet and be positioned however you like with its kickstand.

It has a 12.3 inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 and is now available in platinum or black.

The Surface Pro 6 will start at $1,349.

SURFACE LAPTOP 2

The Surface Laptop 2 is a stunning follow-up and features the new 8th generation Intel Quad Core processor and has a 13.5 inch PixelSense display with a 2256 x 1504 resolution.

It is a remarkable 85 per cent faster than the original Surface Laptop and has been crafted with a premium design with the best in class keyboard and trackpad.

Starting at $1499, the Surface Laptop 2 will be available in four colours – black, platinum, burgundy and cobalt blue.

SURFACE STUDIO 2

Surface Studio 2 is the most powerful Surface that Microsoft has ever made and offers high graphics performance and fast processing and is built for digital creators.

The incredible luminous display, which can be adjusted easily thanks to the zero gravity hinge, is like having a floating sheet of pixels.

It is 38 per cent brighter with 22 per cent more contrast which means that whatever you’re looking at will look amazing.

The touchscreen display has 4,096 levels of pressure and tilt sensitivity for drawing and sketching which makes it the ultimate creative canvas.

Surface Studio 2 starts at $5499.

SURFACE HEADPHONES

Microsoft has created the Surface Headphones to complete the Surface experience for users and help them tune out or tune in.

The headphones are beautifully designed and comfortable to wear and offer 13 levels of ambient noise control and 15 hours of battery life.

There are also two being forming microphones on each ear cup (eight microphones in total) so you can enjoy the sounds you want while still being  able to make calls.

On ear dials will also allow users to adjust volume and noise cancellation levels.

They will also pair with any Bluetooth-enabled device so you can stay connected to anything that’s important to you.
