Lindsay Lohan is pregnant!

The actress, known for her classic roles in Mean Girls, and Freaky Friday — and more recently, Netflix's Falling for Christmas — took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 14 to announce the news.

Lindsay posted a photo of a white baby onesie with the words “coming soon” written across it in cursive. “We are blessed and excited!” She wrote in the caption, along with the praying hands, white heart, baby, and milk bottle emojis.

The 36-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her husband, Bader Shammas, whom she tagged in her announcement post. The couple married in April 2022, per People, after being engaged for one year. Back in November 2022, while being interviewed by her former Mean Girls costar Amanda Seyfried for Interview magazine, Lindsay expressed her desire to eventually become a mom.

“I want to do a few fun things, and then I want to do some more serious things,” Lindsay said at the time, referring to the revitalization of her acting career. “And I want to have kids… Yeah, I’m ready."

The comments section of Lindsay's pregnancy announcement post immediately filled with words of love and support from fans and other celebs. “Omg congrats Lindsay!” wrote Abbott Elementary's Quinta Brunson, while the official Instagram account for Freeform joked: “Fingers crossed for twins.”

Now, how epic would that reboot of The Parent Trap be? (For the record, when asked by Amanda how she'd feel if her kids wanted to act, Lindsay replied: “Maybe they won't. What can you do? You have to support whatever your kids want to do.”)

Congratulations to Lindsay and Bader!
