Two former members of the CW's Riverdale universe were spotted sharing a kiss. Lucy Hale, who starred in Pretty Little Liars and the Riverdale spinoff, Katy Keene, was photographed kissing Skeet Ulrich, who played Jughead Jones's dad in Riverdale, Page Six reports.
On Monday, February 22, Page Six shared exclusive images of the two enjoying a Sunday lunch together in Los Angeles. The photos shared by Page Six showed Lucy and Skeet holding hands, and in a second image, the two leaned in to share a kiss.
Additional snaps also captured Skeet kissing Lucy's hand, and then, after completing their lunch, the two enjoyed a stroll together. In one photo. Skeet and Lucy shared an embrace, while another image had Skeet with his arm around the actor.
Lucy and Skeet have yet to respond to reported speculation regarding their possible relationship. However, it is possible that the two met through their respective work on Riverdale-related series. The two series had shared a crossover episode, which featured Lucy teaming up with Camila Mendes (Veronica Lodge). Since that episode, much has changed in the Riverdale universe. Katy Keene was cancelled over the summer, while Skeet made the decision to leave Riverdale ahead of the show's planned time-jump into the future.
News of the reported relationship comes after Lucy debuted a new, and personally significant, tattoo. Over the weekend, she posted an Instagram photo of a recent butterfly tattoo, sharing that the artwork was intended to signify a moment of rebirth.
As E! points out, this isn't the first time there's been speculation regarding the status of Lucy's romantic relationships. Last summer, she was reportedly dating Colton Underwood of The Bachelor. However, that rumor was never confirmed.
