Millie Bobby Brown just launched her fourth collection with Converse and this time her beauty brand florence by mills is also joining in on the fun.
At 17, Millie is Converse’s youngest collaborator. In 2019, when she was just 15, the star put out her first collaboration with the iconic sportswear brand, which marked the start of an ongoing partnership called Millie By You. Her second collection followed just months after and the third one arrived earlier this year, each upping the DIY elements present in the designs. But for Millie, it sure looks like fourth's time is the charm.
The new Millie By You capsule, unveiled this week, takes cues from her beauty line, florence by mills, which focuses on defining beauty on your own terms. The custom collection features a range of Chuck Taylor high tops and platforms. The design options also include a range of brand motifs, florals, soft pink and purple hues in connection with florence by mills. The most exciting part of the process for MBB was being able to experiment with all of the varying fabrics, colors, and shapes. This was a perfect form of creative expression for her. “I hope people feel happy when they are wearing [the shoes] and that they can embrace the day with a positive attitude,” Millie tells Teen Vogue.
Another part that felt most fulfilling for MBB was merging two of her ventures. “Bringing florence by mills and Converse together was a dream collaboration,” she says. “From the beginning of our work together, Converse embraced my individuality and encouraged me to share my ideas and express myself. Self-expression and embracing what makes you 'you' are qualities that florence by mills was built on, so it's a natural and organic partnership as both companies share the same message.”
“This collection is different from the others because it's a collaboration between one of my longest brand partners and my brand," the Stranger Things star also emphasizes. "It's also incredibly meaningful because it’s a collaboration between two companies that have truly helped me grow as a person and a creative." Millie also notes the collab feels "fresh and clean" and describes the styles available as "very wearable.”

MBB herself has been gravitating towards colors the past few months. The star has taken to Instagram to show off some of her more memorable 'fits, which have included anything from pastel strawberry vests to baby tees and cozy sweaters with rainbow stitching. It's not difficult to see why her new styles with Converse would fit right at home in MBB's wardrobe.
Millie plans to style her Converse with a cute maxi dress and jacket. Since the colder days are upon us, a more sensible approach she suggests would work for her is with a pair of jeans, a tee, and an optional jumper if it's chillier. "Shoes are very important. They complete any look. My shoes add a unique touch to my style,” MBB says when asked how she likes her sneakers. “As I expand my collection — especially with more Converse — I can communicate how I’m feeling or add pops of color to what I’m wearing.”
