‘We were supposed to grow old together,’ Masuimi Max’s ex-husband Morat says after Playboy model found dead at 45

Mystery has surrounded the model's cause of death

A FORMER Playboy model's ex-husband has paid his tribute to her after she was found dead at 45.

Masuimi Max was found dead by cops at her home in the Las Vegas, Nevada area on January 25.

Police said they did not immediately suspect foul play was involved in her death when they discovered her body around 11:30 am, The U.S. Sun previously reported.

The actress and model had a successful career and was known for appearing in numerous magazines like Playboy and Maxin.

Max's ex-husband Morat led her tributes to the former model on his Instagram page.

"Utterly heartbroken. We'd been through some tough times but we were supposed to grow old together," Morat said.

"I will love you always and forever," he added.

Morat, an events coordinator at The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas, announced the couple separated in an Instagram post on November 15, 2023.

"We are no longer husband and wife, but we are and always will be best friends," the couple said in a joint post.

The couple got married in 2006 just weeks after meeting each other and separated after 17 years of marriage.

She had an upcoming show and was scheduled to perform in Las Vegas this Saturday.

The show was due to feature "gorelesque" performances from Max and other entertainers at The Dive Bar.

It is unclear whether the event is still scheduled to go ahead following the tragic news.

Fans also shared their heartfelt tributes to the actress and model under her social media posts.

"So sad to hear you've crossed over, friend. Miss you," one person wrote.

"Masuimi, it's been an honor," another fan wrote.

"You have been so special and you will keep on being exactly that. Rest in peace."
