90s pop band Vengaboys pictured in rare snap two decades after hit Boom Boom Boom Boom – and they’ve barely aged
NINETIES stars Vengaboys rose to fame more than 20 years ago - but in a new pic it appears they've barely aged.
The band sold more than 25million albums worldwide and topped the UK charts with their songs Boom Boom Boom Boom and We're Going to Ibiza.
Hailing from Rotterdam in the Netherlands the popular dance group consists of members, Kim Sasabone, Denise Post-Van Rijswijk, Robin Pors and Donny Latupeirissa – who replaced original member Roy den Burger in 2007.
The group was formed by DJs Danski and Delmundo who in the early 1990s threw illegal beach parties from their worn out school bus.
While they toured Ibiza between 1992 and 1997 they added the dancers who would then go on to front the group during their global success.
Roy, Denise, Kim and Robin "spiced up" the DJ sets so much and became so popular that they started a record label and produced their own music.
The group's debut album, The Party Album!, made it to number one in 20 countries around the world and spent 30 consecutive weeks on the US Billboard charts.
After shooting to fame in 1998, the group took a hiatus eight years later but soon returned to performing in 2007.

Since then the award winning group has continued to release music and tour the world on what they have dubbed the 'non-stop world tour'.
They returned to the stage after the Covid lockdown in 2021 as part of the 90's Nostalgia: Electric Circus in Canada and often appear on line-ups of 90s throwback festivals.
They joined British stars Peter Andre, Atomic Kitten and 5ive at the 90s Baby Pop festival in October last year.
The power group show no signs of slowing down and are performing non-stop across the UK and Europe this year.
Last year, the most successful group in Dutch history released a cover of Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's track 1999 (I Wanna Go Back) to help transport people back to the 90s.
"For us, the 90’s never stopped anyway. But we do notice that a lot of people are weighed down by a heavy mood, and it is kind of striking that this has been the case since the new millennium. I’m just saying," Donny said last year.
Kim added: “We have been on a non-stop world tour since 1999. Covid brought a brutal halt to that. After more than a year of absence, we’ve been dying to re-unite with our friends and fans.”
