NFL star Rasul Douglas reveals he broke down in tears after being traded to Buffalo Bills from Green Bay Packers
NFL cornerback Rasul Douglas didn't take his trade to the Buffalo Bills lightly.
Douglas, 28, was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Bills at the trade deadline on Tuesday.
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst called the Super Bowl champion on Tuesday to let him know of the move, but Douglas couldn't believe it, thinking it was a joke.
"At first, because [Gutekunst] called me at first, I thought it was like a joke, because he didn’t say too much," Douglas said to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
"He just was like, 'We’re trading you.' And then it was over, the conversation was over. I just hung up."
Soon after, the former third-round pick got another call, this time from Packers president Mark Murphy.

"And then I'm sitting there and Mark Murphy called me. And he's got a voice that’s like, you know that it’s him," Douglas said.
"So I’m like, 'Oh, now, this ain’t no joke.'"
After thanking both callers, Douglas then made his way down to the facility to say goodbye to former teammates.
Running back Aaron Jones and Douglas even shared an "emotional moment" and cried together.

He started his career in Philadelphia with the Eagles, hoisting the Lombardi Trophy in 2018.
Now as a member of the Bills, he's at least joining a Super Bowl contender.
Douglas's first chance to start will be this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football.
"They haven’t told me (if) I’m playing or not," Douglas revealed to The Buffalo News.
"So I don’t know when they will tell me, but I’m going to prepare and practice like I’m out there starting.
"I came here to play and make plays for this organization. So, that’s really my focus, is doing whatever the team needs me to do.
