Claude Wayne Henshaw
Henderson - Claude Wayne Henshaw, 78, of Henderson, Kentucky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Wayne retired in 2004 after 18 years working in maintenance with the Henderson County School System. He also worked with the Henderson County Road Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Maebelle Henshaw; and four brothers, Donnie Ray Henshaw, Larry Gene Henshaw, Earl Revees Henshaw, and Ricky Richard Henshaw.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Dianna Russelburg Henshaw; three children, James Henshaw and his wife, Sharon, of Marion, Kentucky, Penny Buchanan and her companion, Steven Vass, of Henderson, Kentucky, and Cheryl Trice and her companion, David Jenkins, of Waverly, Kentucky; two sisters, Ruby Eikermann and her husband, Terry, of Robards, Kentucky, and Brenda Wethington of Reed, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Megan Wolf and her husband, Robert, of Henderson, Kentucky, Cassi Trice of Henderson, Kentucky, Makenzie Buchanan of Henderson, Kentucky, and Spencer Buchanan and his wife, Tabi, of Evansville, Indiana; three great-grandchildren, Chloe Wolf, Caleb Wolf, and Carter Buchanan; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2022, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Pastor Jody Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be James Henshaw, Bryan Henshaw, Brad Henshaw, Jason Henshaw, Michael Wethington, and James Morphett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Betty Morphett and Beckey Morphett.
Contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
The family wishes to thank St. Anthony's Hospice and Caretenders for the amazing care they provided Wayne and his family.
