DANIEL Bedingfield delighted his fans as he shared a rare picture of himself on social media.
The 42-year-old looked almost unrecognisable to the fresh-faced singer who sang Gotta Get Thru This back in 2001.
These days he looks very distinguished with an impressive beard, which went down very well with his followers.
He captioned the smouldering snap: “Loving the strength returning to my heart finally, after all that Trump, covid, stuck in America bulls**t. I’m free!”
His sister, Natasha, commented: “Wow!!! U are stunning.”
Another person remarked: “Daniel! You look great 🔥🔥 so glad to hear you're feeling stronger 💪🏾❤.”

While someone else wrote: “Yesss! I'm waiting for your new, awesome music! 🔥.”
Daniel’s debut album shot him to superstardom, selling over four million copies worldwide.
Unfortunately he was not able to match the same success with Second First Impression in 2004.
That year he nearly died in a serious car accident while visiting his parents in New Zealand, which left him with severe head and neck injuries because of the car rolling on him.

Deciding to put his singing career on hold, Daniel began writing songs for other recording artists.
He co-wrote the track Works for Me for American Idol finalist David Archuleta, as well as working alongside Pixie Lott and the Roots.
After almost a decade of living life under the radar, Daniel accepted a job on the judging panel of The X Factor New Zealand.
During the brief stint on the singing competition show, Daniel mentored the winning act Jackie Thomas.
Since his time on The X Factor, Daniel’s song-writing career has taken off.
In 2014, he co-wrote I Wanna Feel, which was released by SecondCity.
The catchy tune hit number 1 on the UK Singles Chart and managed to remain in the top 20 charts for six weeks.
In 2015, the songwriter had to reassure fans that he hadn’t passed away, after an internet hoax hoodwinked social media users.
He took to Twitter to say: “So apparently I’m not dead according to Google. Fair enough.”
In 2016 Daniel briefly starred in Jeff Wayne’s musical The War of the Worlds.

Sadly his stint in the West End production, which was held at the Dominion Theatre, was short-lived.
A report in The Mirror suggested that the singer wasn’t able to get to grips with the role due to tension and “difficulties behind the scenes”.
