Masuimi Max last posted on the platform in October, when she shared a video of herself in an all-leather ensemble that showed off her figure and tattoos.
An earlier video showed her performing a daring stunt with fire as she promoted a show in Vegas.
She posted to Facebook on January 15, with the model seeming to be in good spirits.
"I woke up to pee... ended up baking a cake at 4 am. Didn't have icing so I used peanut butter for the bottom layer and hazelnut spread for the top," she wrote in the now tragic post.
"The bottom layer was a little wet in the middle, despite using the toothpick to check. I found out when I flipped it over, so I microwaved it for a couple mins.
"I was going to have cake no matter what, lol."
'REST IN POWER'
Paying tribute to the model, Max's ex-husband, Morat, said he is "utterly heartbroken" by her death.

"RIP Masuimi Max," another fan said.
"She was someone who I learned of her work in my early 20s. She created such incredible art and was outstanding in her beauty and may she rest in power."
Writer Shane Bitterling-lebells, who knew the model well, described how great Max was to work with.
"I'm hearing that one of my favorite people to work with, Masuimi Max, has died," he wrote.
"I'm hoping this isn't true. Always prepared, dedicated, professional, and fun. Trailblazing and innovative. And man, just cool. She was a true trailblazer and innovative," he wrote on his platform.
The U.S. Sun has contacted Las Vegas Police Department for comment.
SECOND PLAYBOY MODEL'S DEATH
News of Masuimi Max's death came just hours after it emerged that another model who posed for Playboy had died.
Jesse Jane, 43, and her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, were found dead inside a home in Moore, Oklahoma, about 11 miles south of Oklahoma City, on Wednesday.
Cops discovered their bodies after Hasenmueller's employer called police to conduct a welfare check at the home after not hearing from him in a few days.
A cause of death has not been released, however, sources told TMZ that the pair may have died from a drug overdose.
Jane, born Cindy Taylor, was widely known in the porn industry during the early 2000s.
