Highly recommend working with Above Board if you want a clear, understandable and user-friendly approach to navigating the less than transparent world of insurance. I believe the team truly does have my best interest based on their questions for me and their responsiveness. They also went to bat for me when an insurance policy tried to lowball my life insurance value without my even having to intervene. Their initiative to advocate for me and their principles driving that initiative are why I recommend working with them without hesitation.

Wallis and team were extremely patient and professional from start to finish. If you have put off getting life insurance due to the hassle involved, I highly recommend AboveBoard. I used them because they were recommended for exactly this reason: they are easy to work with and communicate with online. Every step of the process was clear. Team communciates via email and let you know when you have an action and when things are just chugging along. We are genuinly a bit time impoverished and are hard to reach during the week, and the AboveBoard was the right fit for us.

Wallis and her team were so patient, kind and expert in their advice. As a newbie to this kind of product, Wallis took the time to explain everything to me in terms I can understand both at the start of our discussions, and even today, after I have my policy in place. Her team was open to running though different scenarios with me so that I could really envision possible realities where I needed this sort of coverage. And then as my life got very busy, and I got very behind, they kept me on track with reminders, offers for support and quick response times to my questions.
