Frustrating experience
I was initially very interested in the product I purchased - despite reading some reviews about processing times, lack of tracking, etc. Gasper advertises on their website that it will take 1-3 business days to process shipping and provide a tracking number, even though I received an email the day of saying that the item had “shipped.” I reached out after a couple business days to verify, and was told it was still processing. On the 5th business day, I contacted again asking for a tracking number or update to the status of my order, as shipping assured the item in 2-5 business days. On the 6th business day, I received a response saying that the item is actually out of stock due to “recent huge demand” and was given the option to cancel and refund which I requested and hope will be processed in a timelier manner. However, this seems to be a trend with this company, as those were the very red flags that other reviewers highlighted - in that I’ve read multiple reviews of people discussing radio silence from this company about shipping their item, and the response back from Gasper is typically that it is ‘due to huge demand.’ If this is truly the case, then Gasper needs to be transparent with its customers, instead of continuing to advertise and offer all of these discounts and deals for its jewelry. They need to put out a statement, explaining HOW they plan to meet this demand, instead of continuing to hide behind the answer. They also need to update their shipping policy to be honest about the fact that you are very unlikely to see your item shipped on time, nor will you be provided a tracking number. This was a very frustrating experience, and Gasper needs to do better if they want to survive.
