THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!

THE WORST COMPANY EVER!!!!! My boiler was broken and leaking for over a year, they only changed it once it completely stopped working but still took them over 3 weeks to do this leaving me with no hot water or heating with a young child. I got new radiators in some rooms they ripped up all the boxing around the pipes and 5 weeks, 5 appointments and 3 no shows later still not fixed. Customer service staff are polite but not helpful they just try to console and brush you off. No clear communication when engineers are running late or not going to attend. One of the engineers actually came to my property and told me he only get paid £18 for boxing and the job is not worth the £18 which is one of the most unprofessional conversations I’ve ever had!

This company is getting worse.

This company is getting worse. They missed both appointments. Nobody turned up. Then sent me a Legal Action letter blaming me for not letting them gain access !! I phoned them of course, and I do beleive they are lying. How do they get away with this ? What a bunch. They should be closed down.

A danger to Health & Safety and a totally incompetent company

How does this company still have a contract with Peabody! They came out to complete a gas safety check and left the pipe hanging off the boiler! This morning my kitchen is flooded! No hot water, the same last year! This is a flat with wooden floorboards, so I’m sure the resident that lives below, will have a collapsing ceiling soon! Incompetent! Thy need to be reported to the Health & Safety Executive. Qualifications and competence are required when working with gas for a reason! Don’t go near these people! Peabody you should be ashamed, another incompetent organisation!

Chaotic, disorganised and disinterested

Chaotic. Multiple appointment letters sent for the same issue - appointments they do not turn up for. Either significantly late or total no shows.

Poor levels of customer service, and what sounds like lies about why their engineers haven't arrived ('they came this morning but couldn't get access to your property' - utter rubbish). No apologies and no priority given when rebooking missed appts

Engineer who did arrive (4 hours after appt time) told me he had only just been called to attend an hour or 2 beforehand.

As tenants we have no choice so are held hostage to poor companies like this

Now today I have received a threatening letter from the council threatening legal action for not letting T-Browms lying staff access to my property they missed 5 appointments last year and so far 2 this year and have lied every time these people are disgusting...

Today my new boiler and radiators were…

Today my new boiler and radiators were fitted, very happy with workmanship, and then electricians came to fit the control unit after that I lost lost hot water, and heating. Reported to T Brown, and I was told that I have quality control appointment, which was not aware of , I explained that I have hot water, the advisor on phone told me it's 5 now they have finished, then no problem, I asked there is no problem because I have no water and heating, I put me on hold then line went dead. So impressed with customer services.

A company getting away with murder for years

I cannot tell you how much I hate this company. Time and time and time again they fail to keep appointments. This has been going on for years. Why my housing association still uses them is beyond belief. There is never any apology I have wasted so many hours waiting for these cowboys to turn up.
I emailed them for their latest excuse.Apparently they were at my flat at 3pm ...blatant lies as I took a half day and was in my flat from 1pm.

STAY AWAY

i do wonder what was the motivation behind Hounslow Council having a contract with TBrown.
terrible customer service, engineers lying about attendance - taking a photo of front door without knocking and then accusing you of not being at home, saying appointment is classed as an emergency and then leaving you days without heating and hot water.
if it wasn’t for contracts with London councils, they would have been long gone and out of business.
STAY AWAY from them if you value your time and sanity.

So I had a new boiler fitted on the…

So I had a new boiler fitted on the 30/12/23 the engineer didn’t put the condenser pipe back on the waste pipe so from the 30/12/23 the pipe was leaking slowly under the sink behind a boarded off area . I obviously didn’t know but after a few weeks I had condensation on my windows and mould flys start appearing and was using fly spray they just kept coming over the weeks and mould getting worse . I took a picture of the flys and identified as drain moths so I started looking for a leak and found under the sink behind the boards in a very tight corner the pipe was off , so when the washing machine was on it would pump on draining or when sink was full and plug was pulled it would drizzle out causing a black sludge full of moth lava underneath the boxes off area and bad damp so from 30/12/23 to 1st of march 24 it was leaking. The damage was done everything was mouldy damp and the kitchen needed to be removed the flooring everything ruined, I sent 2 emails to Tbrown gas company they send a inspector out on the 17/04/24 he spoke to me all nice saying it’s bad we need to do something for you . He went back to the company they try saying the washing machine popped the pipe off to cover it up , the pipe is two long and the angle of the pipe it’s impossible to have even been in the waste pipe to pop off but the guy lied I have all the pictures and evidence u can see it was never attached after the install causing the damage, I have had no kitchen no cooker and flys in my flat for months, my clothes smell damp when I wear them everything it ruined

Timer repair for boiler

Had trouble with timer unit on boiler, engineer (Roman) came in on Monday 18/03/24 to assess repair, contacted by T Brown following day to tell me parts had been ordered, and follow up appointment was made for Thursday 21/03/24 pm, "Roman" arrived again to do repair, this took about 30mins, repair completed, no mess, and "Roman" even re-enstated the timer functions to the times I had on old unit, very well pleased. From time of reporting repair, to time of completion, well done to "T Brown" and engineer "Roman". Great customer service.

I was told my appointment with T Brown…

I was told my appointment with T Brown was between 0730 & 1300
I called at 1320 to be told the engineer was running a couple of hours late and would be with me at 1500,
bearing in mind that no one from T Brown had made me aware of this.
so I took this opportunity to do something as I had already lost most of my rest day from work, then to my horror a missed appointment card was posted at 1404 the time I found this was at 1440 so now it turns out I have totally lost almost a day due to T Browns Incompetence.
When calling them about this situation the customer service was shocking and they insisted that I book another appointment saying that the engineer said he would be with me by 1500 but this was not said to me on the phone, It was said he was running a couple of hours late and would be with me for 1500.
This company has no customer care what so ever peoples lives should not be played with especially on rest days from work where it is the persons time after working hard to get rest days.
I asked for the rearranged appointment to be the Engineers first job due to them messing me around but the response was we only do a time scale of morning or afternoon so we cant do that (Shocking) what on earth are the LBH thinking of giving them this contract? I pay for this service of incompetence weekly out of my rent it's SHOCKING.

I give no stars!!

I give no stars!!! Disgusting service left me with out hot water or heating for 2 weeks not to mention boiler has been leaking water for 1YEAR!!!! Failed to turn up to appointments everyday for a nearly 2 weeks lied to my face and said they did, come out i have cctv one guy showed up sat in van and said couldn't gain access i went to talk with him he drove off, lost 2 weeks wages and no heating or hot water resulting in my child becoming unwell. Absolutely disgraceful behavior !!! Im still waiting from 8 this morning ! A bloody joke!!!!

If customers are not your priority, what is it ?

If you need something, don't call them.
We had a ticket for a 4-hour repair, but no one turned up, nor contacted us for an update.

The next day I called back and spoke to a rude (Johny?) staff member not able to answer my questions, and told me "to not worry" ... Cuts me off multiple times when I was speaking.

The company already has a bad rating so I suppose the staff only reflects the reality.

Never turn up on booked appointments

Still waiting for engineer not the first time I've wasted holidays waiting in for the brown that never arrived on booked days off! Been waiting today for emergency engineer leaks, water out of walls no way to contain been clearing puddles all day yet still waiting water is dripping out my lights so expect me to sit with no lights, no heating in puddles. I don't feel safe and they don't seem concerned or bothered, lie that they came when I have been sitting allday at the window waiting. Been two years waiting to put a radiator back to the wall by tbrown had appointment booked Monday 15th, thought finally job be complete
yeh I wish! took booked off work still nothing job uncompleted. A joke!

Sent four different gas men to my house…

Sent four different gas men to my house on four different occasions in a period of 10 days ..they can't fix anything. Useless ..cowboys ..they said boiler ok but it was not and never was ok. scum bags caused Me so my stress no hot water and heating hope they rot in hell

let down again

changed app on 2nd jan for 1pm-6pm due to permenant health problems for gas check even tho no gas here for yrs/as always left waiting alday for a no show.tried live chat thats like a parrot keep asking for address etc then keeps saying no record. then when u ring them on option2 just leaves you listening to music and same old auto voice saying your in que--how longs the que for gods sake. my kitchen is all pulled out so`s u can check but failed to turn up.no phone calls/tx etc. useless!

Avoid T Brown at all Costs

I’d give this company zero stars if possible. Echoing the other clients’ sentiments, T Brown staff are dishonest, unreliable, incompetent, lazy, the list goes on. Their staff have lied countless times, and eventually told us that our issue isn’t urgent enough for them to attend to our property. I’d avoid them if you have a choice and enlist another company’s help, if I were you. Never do business with dishonest people.

Tbrown is the most useless heating…

Tbrown is the most useless heating company I've ever have to deal with. Their engineers are pure incompetent and liars. They are very in a hurry to go home. If you're unfortunate to have an appointment for late afternoon, they will come to your place, take the picture of your door without ringing the bell and report it as no access.

GREAT GREAT SERVICE

GREAT GREAT SERVICE! I am a retired lady who just got housed by council and the flat had a few problems needing fixing. I called for 2issues, a broken window and a leaking central heater.

Both these issues were placed as top priority and was given emergency appointments. The engineers were 3 amazing young men, who were extremely professional, helpful and very lovely to chat to and gave me advice. The gentleman who fixed the window, I believe he is called Louis Salvara went above and beyond in helping me with my problem. Truly professional and very good man.

I am highly satisfied with the services provided and the company is very blessed to have these individuals working there!
