Ashley Tisdale gets engaged

Lots of lovey-dovey things have happened at the top of the Empire State Building — remember the climax of Sleepless in Seattle?

Add Ashley Tisdale's engagement to the list. The actress' musician boyfriend of eight months, Christopher French, popped the question last night on the storied skyscraper's 103rd floor, reports Life & Style Weekly. "It was totally romantic, and Ashley's over the moon," a source tells the magazine.

And on top of the world, literally and otherwise. "Best night of my life," the 28-year-old tweeted at 11:59 p.m. "We're on top of the world."
