Jerry Fisher

On October 6, 2023, Jerry Fisher left this world to be with those that had gone on before him. Jerry was born November 21, 1942 to Aud and Susie Fisher in Russellville, Arkansas.

At the age of two, Jerry and his family moved to Reedley, CA where he grew up and attended Reedley College. He then went on to Fresno State where he received a degree in criminal justice. Jerry worked 31 years for Tulare County Probation at the time of his retirement.

Jerry’s dream was to move back to the south with his wife of 37 years, Janet, and his daughter Hannah. They relocated to Missouri until their return to Visalia in 2005 to be near family. If you really knew Jerry, you would know that he left his heart on 13 acres of woods, on top of a hill, in a log home in Thayer, Missouri. It was his dream to go back and visit one day.

Jerry leaves behind his wife; his three daughters, that call him Dad, Angela Hennemann, Bethany Fisher, and Hannah Fisher. His grandchildren, who call him Papa, Joshua Lee, Nicholas Hennemann and Chandler, Ella, and Clara Haungs.

We would like to thank all of our family and friends that have loved and prayed for us these past few weeks. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Paul’s School, 6101 W. Goshen Avenue, Visalia, 93291 in Jerry’s name. A private family service will be held at a later date.
