Jongunjoen Matkailu is located in Nurmijärvi village in Lieksa, in the North Karelia region. The resort offers accommodation in wooden buildings, outdoor activities, and relaxation in a beautiful lakeside setting.

Jongunjoen Matkailu`s lakeside inn provides accommodation in four double guestrooms.

Jongunjoen Matkailu serves breakfast and other meals in the restaurant for overnight guests, on pre-order. The kitchen serves home cooking dishes using seasonal, local, and organic products as much as possible. The kitchen also takes care of special dietary requirements as per the client´s needs (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free, etc).

Jongunjoen Matkailu has three different kinds of saunas, two by the lake. We also have two nordic baths by the lake. There is no better way to relax after a day outdoors. Ask more about booking saunas when booking accommodation.

We offer versatile nature and cultural activities and programs during the four seasons. Guests can be active or just relax, enjoy the silence, nature, and the peace of the lake landscape. All outdoor activities are well suited for all levels.
