The past year has seen several celebrities welcome babies into the world, from Gigi Hadid to Kareena Kapoor Khan, and it looks like Freida Pinto has some big news as well. Last night, the actor surprised her Instagram followers with the news of her pregnancy. The SlumDog Millionaire star, who is currently engaged to adventure photographer Cory Tran, shared a sweet picture of the couple on her social media page with the message, “Baby Tran, coming this Fall!” The photo showed a glowing Pinto flaunting her baby bump in a comfy black floral dress.

In just a matter of hours, the announcement post has received thousands of likes. From Tanya Ghavri and Anaita Shroff Adajania to Priyanka Bose, Mrunal Thakur and Hannah Simone, Pinto's friends and well-wishers from around the globe flooded the mom-to-be's comments section with congratulatory messages.
Freida Pinto and Cory Tran began dating back in 2017 and went on to get engaged in 2019. Last year, the actor also shared a heartfelt message for her fiancé's birthday saying, “It all makes sense now. Life makes sense, the world makes sense, the past tears and trials make sense, what wise old lovers said about love makes sense, where I am makes sense and where I want to go completely makes sense. You my love are just the most beautiful creation to have ever walked into my life. And you are here to stay. Well, I am making you stay.”

On the work front, the expecting mom is all set to star in an upcoming time-travel drama alongside Orlando Bloom titled Needle In A Timestack, as well as a period romantic comedy with Constance Wu, Mr Malcolm's List.
