The clearance under the bed is approximately 13"

To the top of the footrail is 12", so how could the clearance under the bed be 13"?  Its impossible.  A previous reviewer pointed out this answer was wrong and its 7".  If the siderail and footrail are 5", then a 7" clearance would be correct.

The manufacturer's answer is wrong.  If the clearance under the bed was 13", then the slats would have to sit 1" higher than the footboard which is 12" high.

Would this bed be able to fit a roll-out trundle underneath? What is the measurement from the bottom of the side rail to floor when assembled?

A twin size mattress is used with this unit.

The height from floor to the bottom of the lower bed rail is approximately 13"

I purchased this bed. The footboard is 12 inches however when you put the bed together there is only 7 inches of clearance...... In the previous questions prior to purchase the representative stated there should be 13 inches clearance. Also I have a 6 inch mattress, you definitely need a thicker mattress or a box spring to make your mattress higher or you&#39;ll be sleeping closer to the floor.

What is the height from the BOTTOM of the bed frame to the floor? Can you put storage boxes under it?
