This little beurer menstrual relief pad is a must for people who suffer from horrible cramps due to endometriosis, etc. I've always had to use a heating pad to sooth my aching tummy, but this is a game changer. It's compact, but rubbery soft to lay comfortably on your stomach. It has heat, but the coolest part is the tens (electrode currents) it sends towards the pain. The intensity is from light, to very strong- whichever your preference. Works very well in combination with the heat. Directions were straightforward and easy to follow. Comes with usb charger cord- charge at least 2 hours before first use. This would be a wonderful gift to give any girl/woman suffering from that time of the month. It truly is soothing and really does help tremendously! Highly recommend!

Wish I'd had this years ago!

The heating function on the tens unit was really nice and complimented the electrical stimulation well. I really liked that it automatically turned off after 20 min because I could have fallen asleep with it on. I like how compact it is and it'll be easy to travel with and wear under my pants when I have bad pain days. This tens unit is also cheaper than the same one sold on amazon and the shipping was fast, totally worth it. Overall I'm excited to continue using it to regulate my chronic pain.

Compact, Good Price, Regulates Pain Well

I received the Beurer Electric Menstrual Relief Pad, Cramp and Endometriosis Relief, EM50 about 2 weeks ago and I finally got to try it out this week. It seems to work like a heating pad but a souped up one. It feels like it works at deeper muscle tissue than a regular heating pad and the "tingles" feel great. I used itore for lower back pain than for lower stomach pain and I will continue to do so on a more regular basis than menstrual cramps. Thank you for such an awesome product!

Works like a heating pad

This is one of the most interesting products that I have ever had! I had previously never even heard of devices like these existing. I recently received my Beurer Medical EM 50 Menstrual Relax Electric Menstrual relief pad! This device is amazing. You will not believe the sensations, let alone strength that this light weight product produces. This item is made to help relieve pain and cramping from menstrual cycle as well as from endometriosis. It uses TENS technology and offers heat. TENS uses electrical stimulation of the nerves through the skin. There is a power button and the intensity settings up or down arrow buttons. It has 15 intensity levels. The intensity goes from a very faint internal feeling to a nice gentle vibrating feeling to an extremely strong tapping and vibration. It seems incredible powerful, especially for how thin this device is. The heat setting gets pretty hot. 
 I love how convenient this product is! The pad is a slim medical grade silicone material that has two sticky pads to stay attached to you during use. It has a rechargeable battery so there are no cords attached while using this device. You can comfortably walk around or just sit back and relax. It's programmed to automatically turn off after 20 minutes of use. I actually wore this to a store and totally forgot that I had it on. I highly recommend this for those who suffer from menstrual cramps!

Highly recommended for cramps!

The Beurer EM50 Electric Menstrual Relief Pad for the relief of cramps and Endometriosis is an amazing little device! I had never seen anything like this before and had always resorted to using pain relievers and heating pads for relief when suffering from cramps and discomfort during my cycle. While I don't suffer from Endometriosis, I do get uncomfortable and sometimes painful cramps that can even make doing daily tasks difficult. This tiny device was a wonderful and welcome replacement to my previous coping methods. The instructions were very easy to follow and there are only two buttons, so you're almost a pro on how to use it from the start! Once you apply the two included gel pads to the device and apply the device to your abdomen, you're ready to go! It heats up pretty quickly (within a couple minutes) and the heat is gentle and not too hot. The TENS function is very great at helping you relax and I love that there are 15 strength settings to ensure the perfect comfort level everytime. I also really like that this device has an auto shut off after 20 mins and that the heat and TENS functions can be used together or separately. I did appreciate how flexible and thin this product was. It is slightly noticeable through some clothing, which is to be expected, but with the right clothes, this could potentially be undetectable. The gel pads on this product are very sticky, so it does stick well to your skin. I did not have any issues with the product coming off unintended, however, it only sticks on a small section on each side and over time, the gel pads do need to be replaced. The only downside I saw with this product was when I removed this device from my skin, the gel pads were very sticky and tried to peel off the product and stay behind on my skin instead. You have to remove it carefully to prevent this.

Tossing out my heating pad!

This is an amazing spot relief pad for menstrual symptoms. It heated up so fast and shuts off after 20 minutes. I like that it bends for better coverage and I can wear it under my clothes. I even used it on my arm when it was hurting. It has a bunch of settings with heat and 20 minute treatments. This is a rechargeable product and comes with the recharging cord that is USB. This menstrual relax on the spot really does ease menstrual pains. It is easy to use. I just attached the gel pads after I charged the pad and I made sure my skin was clean and I had no lotion on where I put the pad. I picked the program and cycle with pulse. I had to wait for the second treatment by 30 minutes. This is great for teenagers. It makes a great gift for the holiday's. Love it! Beurer is a great brand and has helped my cramps go away fast.

Incredible Cramp Relief

I received this item 2 days ago. Since the font used for the enclosed instruction manual is miniscule, I had to request a link or other source that would allow me to magnify the print so it's legible. That link arrived last night, and I've read through it now. Since my resident granddaughter currently are experiencing a menstrual period, she has yet to try it (and I am well past the age where I can utilize it for its intended use) BUT I can state that the unit seems to be made well and the manual is thorough. TENS units generally do provide pain relief, and my granddaughter is hopeful that she will benefit from the use of this unit since she experiences much menstrual distress.

Instruction manual unreadable; item seems fine

The EM 50 Menstrual Relax is one of the best devices when it comes to menstruation cramps, but I will also be using it for other types of tummy discomfort as well. There are 15 intensity levels and it does get intense! I have gone up to levels 5-6 and experienced great results. It's slim, lightweight, and very quiet. It actually makes no noise at all, other than when you first turn it on, so you can use this while at work or school and no one would be the wiser. You get 20 minutes per session before it turns off and it recommends you wait 30 minutes before starting a new session. If you suffer from cramps, during that time of the month, I think you should try it. I'm glad I did because it didn't disappoint me at all.

Super Quiet!

my daughter always suffers from abdominal cramps during her menstrual period. so she tried this as soon as the chance came. initially, it took her 2 hours to completely charge it. first, the area that touches the skin is really small. when it is on, it generates heat and her choice of pulse. it can only go as long as 20 mins then shuts off. she would prefer to use just heat and no pulse. she also feels like the heat is not hot enough to give her comfort. however, the unit is small enough that she can take it with her and say use it while in the car. quite discrete and portable.

Beurer Menstrual Relief Pad - not enough heat

I was definitely excited to try this product out. Cramps are no joke and I'm willing to try anything. I've heard of people using "TENS" devices for other types of pain, so I was curious. First you have to charge it. I'm not really sure I like that you have to use an USB to do so, I'd rather have batteries. But everything is switching to USB now so I guess it's expected. You have to put these sticky pads on the device so it will stick to your skin. If you don't stick it to your skin and just lay it on you it won't work. It will just keep beeping. So make sure you peel off the film from both sides of the gel pad so it will stick to the device and you. The heat is very slight. I would have wanted it warmer. The sparks it sends out is no joke though. Don't start out high. It feels like little daggers. I had to leave it on low. While wearing it, it does help a little. It kind of just numbs you. However, about 5 minutes after removal, the pain is back. So it somewhat helps, but only while using it. I guess I would recommend this. It does work, even thought it's not lasting.
