I got this Beurer Extra-Soft heating Pad to use on a hip injury, and I absolutely love this heating pad! This heating pad is very soft, and actually cuddly! That is what makes this the best heating pad that I have ever used. It is soft and is very flexible, so that you can mold it and curve it onto whatever body part you need it on. When I put this pad on my sore hip, I can bend it all the way around the front and all the way around the back, for perfect coverage. Another great feature this heating pad has is the large size it has. It is more than large enough to cover all it needs to cover. It heats up really quickly to a nice warm temperature. It is never too hot. Just a nice comfortable warmth to soothe my aches. It has six temperature settings so you can choose your heat level. It also has overheat protection for extra safety. It automatically switches off after 2 hours, which is so convenient in case you fall asleep while using it. This Beurer heating pad is also machine washable which is such a great option, in case it gets dirty. It is 50 watts, which is absolutely perfect. I very highly recommend this Beurer extra soft heating pad! It is my favorite and provides me with pain relief comfortably!! I would definitely buy again.

Beurer Heating Pad

Beurer was not kidding when they said large heating pad. I love the size of this thing because it heats up a large section of your body at once. It's very soft unlike other heating pads and it heats up quickly. The cord disconnects from the pad so you can wash it. The other heating pads I have can't be washed, so this heating pad you would want to get.

Very large heating pad

This Beurer UHP26 heating pad is a generous 12" x 24" size. The pad is encased in a plush grey microfiber-ish feeling polyester material (no slipcover needed), which is machine washable. It has six temperature settings to suit each preference or need, and fast-heats. It has a nice long cord for the wall plug, which detaches from the pad for washing or storing. The two hour shut-off feature is automatic to prevent overheating, and is warrantied from defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product! This is the nicest quality heating pad, to keep handy for muscle strains, sprains, joint pain or what have you. Also comes in a sturdy storage box.

Plushness built-in + large size is a bonus!

I absolutely love this heating pad. It comes in so handy for cramps or minor aches and pains. The material is plush and very soft, it causes no irritation to the skin. There are 6 temperature settings, the heating pad is also detachable and washable. It is good to use on those chilly winter nights on the couch, it automatically shuts off after 2hrs so it will never overheat. It helps a lot to sooth cramps.

Heating pad

I suffer from sciatic nerve pain year round. Some days worse than others and this heating pad is the perfect size to put on my lower back. It has 6 different heat settings and the best part is that's its reusable and even washable. It's saved me a lot of money for sure because you can use it for however many times you want and don't have to keep spending like you would with the one use heating pads. Great for any size but even better for us plus sized people.

Good for sciatic nerve pain

This is evidently the new style for heating pads. I've never had one quite like this one. It's so soft, and very flexible and easy to use anywhere on my body. It's a nice size to use almost anywhere too. At 12 inches wide and 24 inches long, it's great for the back, or can be draped or wrapped around a sore knee, leg or arm, or sore shoulders. The fabric is very plush and soft and feels great. The waffle style of padding allows some air movement or air pockets and keeps it from getting too hot on the skin.

One of my favorite features is the automatic shut off at 2 hours. It's not recommended to fall sleep using it, but if you do, it won't go all night and the chances of being burned are much lower. It gets really nice and warm, but not overly hot, so I think the chance of burning yourself is very low. It has 6 different heat settings, and there's a handy light on the control showing when it's on and off. Best of all, the entire pad is washable. The electric plug comes off the pad, and you can throw it in the wash.

Very soft, works great

I absolutely love this heating pad. It is the softest heating pad I have ever owned. Great to use with a castor oil pack, since the length is long enough to wrap around. I love the length of the cord. I can plug it in behind my couch and it reaches perfectly.

Extremely soft

The Beurer heating pad is very soft and provides a gentle warmth. The fabric is extra soft and breathable. It is very comfortable to use and easy on skin. There are six temperature settings so you can get just the right level of heat by just pushing the bar up the control box. There is an automatic safety measure where the heating pad will turn off after 2 hours, so you do not have to worry about falling asleep while using. This heating pad is machine washable. To wash the heating pad you just unplug the cord from the port and throw it in the wash. It is even able to be tumble dried on low. The cord is a decent length so you are not tethered to a space right next to an outlet.

We have used this heating pad for extra warmth, relief from muscle cramps and also targeted area pain relief. We do not feel that this gets warm enough when it comes to pain relief. It did work quite well to help with an upset stomach and when it was used for some extra warmth.

Overall this heating pad is quite good and it will definitely be used. We do still have our other heating pad for the acute targeted pain suffered by some family members as the level of heat is higher, but this one should work just fine for occasional muscle pain, stomach pain or just extra warmth when it is needed.

Nice Heating Pad

I was anxious to receive/try this Beurer Large Ultra-Soft Heating pad.
However, it just didn't meet my expectations.
It's marketed for use on neck/shoulders, but it just doesn't work for me in that area.

Pros:
-It heats. Just as it should.
-I like the controller. It's click-based, so easy to set and forget without it accidentally changing.
-Super long cord.
-Soft and machine washable.

Cons:
-Very stiff. You can't manipulate it around your neck or wherever because it just doesn't stay well. I think it's because of the thick trim around the entire edge. Makes it last, but not practical for some uses.
-In my opinion, the auto-off feature is too long. I would rather see a timer of some sort.
-The plug is awkward and takes up an entire corner of the pad. On both sides. This also seems to affect the way it lays on your body.
-The cover is not removable. I'm guessing this will shorten the life due to frequent washings of the entire pad.

All in all, if you just want to put this on your tummy, it would be fine. But I would not recommend it for anything else. Certainly not for necks/shoulders. Maybe if it had a velcro strap it would accommodate?
