Magazine

I purchased this gel blaster for my son. He had been asking for it for months! Christmas finally came and he was super excited and happy to get it. It did not disappoint! We did have some issues at first with it shooting the gel balls out but my husband did some magic on it and it worked. The glow in the dark is really cool! Be aware that the batteries get super hot after awhile. Other than that it's pretty awesome

Christmas gift

This was a big hit this Christmas with my 2 oldest grandsons.  my youngest grandson was not happy that he did not receive one but it was just not for his age. He diffently needs to be a few years older before he can have one.

Super fun for the whole family. Very strong glow at night time. Be careful with the shoots it hurts! Recommend buying and putting on eye protective gear for the little ones and adults!

Amazing and Best Toy Ever!!

This review is for Gelbee's Stormburst Glow, a glow in the dark gel bead blaster. The big draw for this blaster is that not only does the blaster make glow in the dark gel beads glow but the blaster itself is also glow in the dark. As with most glow in the dark items, you'll get the best glow results from exposure to either UV or sunlight. On top of that, the blaster also features removable stock and muzzle for customizing the size and look. However, removing the muzzle negatively affects the speed and accuracy of the shooting so you probably won't be doing that much. As for the stock, I felt it was a bit lacking in length (I'm an average size adult). The stock is suitable for shooting from the side but if you're trying to aim down the barrel, the stock is just in the way. Performance wise, it's very good in speed and accuracy (as long as the muzzle is on). Unfortunately, it only has off and full burst; there's no semi-automatic mode although you can make due with just quick press of the trigger. The glow in the dark mechanism is internal so no need to for an extra pair of AA batts like some of the other glow in the dark bead blasters. The magazine capacity is a decent amount; it has to be because on full auto, you will run through your ammo really quickly. My one big complaint on this blaster is that the magazine is tough to completely empty of the beads. Due to the way the feeding mechanism inside the magazine is designed, it is easy for beads to get stuck inside the magazine and I often had to shake and hit the magazine to get the balls out as well as revving the magazine to make sure the feeding mechanism is clear. Last thing you want to do is leave beads in the magazine as it can lead to jams eventually. Frankly, I'm a bit conflicted about this blaster. Performance wise, it is excellent but this is also the first gel blaster where I had this much trouble cleaning out the magazine. If you don't mind this potential hassle, then by all means go grab this blaster.

Great blaster! But...

its fun in all but my dogs run like crazy when we start playing with these thing. lol 
also the jell beads get stuck at times and block the chamber and magazine. oh and if you leave the jell beads in the weapon for more than a day or two, they tend to get mold on them. creating an even bigger blockage.

came with most everything except the 1,000 gel beads listed right on the box. be sure to pick some up so you can actually use it.

missing BB's

Returned this after a week. My son has a Gel Blaster gun and used beads for this gun by accident and all it does is clog.  We now understand the gelbee gun can only take gelbee.  That won't work for us if our local store is sold out of it often.  Bought him his second Gel Blaster with the return.

It's ok

It is really cool looking, has an actual rechargeable battery pack, and is really well made. 
The cons are that the battery dies fast, the gel beads jam extremely easy, and they don't actually come out well. 
We let the beads soak overnight. We loaded it correctly and had a fully charged battery. 
I wish they fixed the issues because the concept is actually awesome. It is really frustrating in reality. 
Pass unless you get it really cheap, or they fix the issues.

Misleading - Jams up easily

I purchased this for my nephew's birthday.  Not even a month later, he tells me that it is broke and isn't shooting the gellets unless he turns the Gelbee Storm Burst upside down!

disappointed!

I bought this blaster a month ago for $49 here at Walmart and the original price was "$79" I was going to buy another one and I see that they're lying it's on sale for "$79" and original price being "$99" but that's not true. This isn't right. Didn't know Walmart wasn't dishonest like this.
