These LED's let off a much nicer glow than the halogen bulbs. Attached see the photo showing soft white halogen next to this new LED soft white bulb. The LED has a much better color to it. The LED is 75 watt equivalent with 1100 lumens. It comes with 4 bulbs. The box they come in no longer has dividers to keep the bulbs snug to keep from breaking. They are all together in the box, but they say they are shatter resistant.
I tested their shatter resistance. I dropped the bulb from ceiling level on carpet, and it bounced. I dropped it from about ceiling level on tile, and it bounced! So don't worry if you're installing this anywhere, and you drop it. It won't shatter. It really is shatter resistant! And I plugged it in after dropping it several times and the bulb still works.
You can use these on any normal medium size base. They screw in just the same as other bulbs.

Great soft white color

These are a clutz proof lightbulbs. The box said shatter proof so being the clumsy person I am I decided to try it. Yes, I dropped it from standing up onto my tile floor! Guess what... as I squincehed my eyes I hear it hit the floor so I open my eyes and watch as it bounces across my kitchen floor! Wow! So I thought ok let's see if it still works and it did! I put it in a lamp of mine that has 4 lightbulbs. It did not get hot which I love, esp since there are 4 in there. Now I don't have to worry about the kids touching it and I can sit under to read and not get hot. There are 4 in my pack and they are all just down in the package. I have always thought it was such a waste of material when they have to use all that packing on the glass bulbs so this is a nice environmental perk. Then of course they are led so supposed to energy savers. I have attached a picture to show the color. It is the one on the left the yellowish looking one. It is next to a spiral led light to show color difference. NO it does not give off the yellowish glow. It is just a softer color, better for reading it is the incandescent . Once I replaced all it seems more normal. On the bulb it says for damp locations. Which is not advertised on the package. This makes sense since it doesn't get hot. But something they should advertise on package, just says for indoor/outdoor use. But would be good for a dark damp basement/garage. They are supposed to last 18 years but I haven't used that long so I can't tell you about that. Have used several days and they are still going. It has a 3 year warranty but the 18 years are based on 3 hours a day use. How do you prove that ? ( but seriously who takes back light bulbs? Very good and durable light bulbs at a great price. Can't go wrong with these.

I am hooked!

First thing I did was test it by throwing it on the dining room floor. We threw it several times and it never broke and still worked perfectly. We put it in our son's room next to a regular bulb. This one is so much brighter. I highly recommend this especially for kids rooms.

Very bright! Is truly break free!

These bulbs are a great way to lower your electric bills and get a brighter room in your household! I have changed every single bulb in my home from regular to LED and have seen a definite decline in electricity usage, receiving these 100watt bulbs got me to realize how much more brightness and light they provide rather than my 60 Watt LED bulbs! The difference in brightness is huge!!! These are also a little bit larger than standard 60 Watt LED bulb, the base is medium and these are also shatter proof, which I didn't expect at all! I have placed 2 bulbs outside one in a fixture above my front door and one on my back porch and the brightness that they provide is unbelievable! One of those babies lights up my whole back yard! I definitely recommend these LED bulbs to all the shoppers who are trying to save a buck on their electric bill, just think - one 100watt LED equivalent bulb only uses 15.5 actual watts! One bulb provides 1650 lumens of brightness and will only cost $1.87 in energy cost per year, that sounds like a winner to me! They also last up to 18 years/ have 20,000 hours of life, and make sure you get "daylight " bulbs if you prefer a brighter effect, because soft light will give you that yellowish look and they will not be nowhere near as bright, I have learned that the hard way!

Excellent way to save on electric bills!

Great Value LED light bulbs, daylight. Equivalent to 100. But only actually uses 15.5 watts. They are non-dimmable. The brightness is 1650 lumens. Estimated energy cost of $1.87. The life of it is 18.2 years, but that is assuming only using it for 3 hours a day. I love how these lights look. I love the daylight bulbs. They tend to be brighter and better for me to read by. They are easy to install, same as any bulb. I love that they don't have that soft yellow color. I hate trying to read in that light.

Daylight bulbs.

These 6 watt light bulbs are exactly the right level of brightness for indirect lighting in a room. I use them in a reading lamp, a decorative lamp, even in a closet. They are brighter than the 25 watt clear filament that they are replacing, but not harsh at all.

Soft light, perfect brightness

OK my CFL's in the garage finally went so I replaced them with Lower wattage LEDS.I decided I wanted it brighter in the garage.
My wife didn't want to go with 100 watt bulbs only because she insisted it would cost more money to use them.
I assured her it wasn't in fact more it was less than a cfl bulb.
I mean 16 watts to run 100 watt bulb how can you go wrong with that.
Ok so I put the new bulbs in the garage door opener it takes 2 bulbs. 
Then I put 2 other bulbs in the fixture that's in the garage as well. 
It went from night to day when I flipped the switch.
The Daylight LED bulb creates a crisp natural effect and will be the right choice for Display areas, security lighting, garages, task lights and enhanced vanity lighting.
They provide excellent light quality and lumen output.
The best thing of all is that we are saving money using the new LED bulbs.
I was happy that they are very bright and again low watts! 
They were a great choice to increase lighting with overpowering socket.
One thing to note is they didn't come packaged very well, they were loose in the packaging. You would think they would be individually wrapped and packed. They all work no matter how they were packed however.
I hope this helps someone in deciding whether or not they want to try these.

They lit up my garage like it was daytime at night

These low heat bulbs have a nice soft but bright white light and because they are equivalent of a 100 watts, they put out a lot of light. I used these in my lamps and we only need to use one lamp to light up our living room. There is a nice non-glaring glow that is close to daylight. Everything looks crisper without that haze that some bulbs give off. I'm excited that they are the same size of a regular filament bulb so they fit into lamps with shades on them. There is little heat and they save money as LED's are cheaper to use. I am thrilled to finally have an LED light bulb that will fit most of my lamps. My mood is so much better, having lights that will brighten up a home like daylight on these dull, dark winter days.

Bright idea

These bulbs are, dollar-for-dollar, the best you can buy and the most efficient. I like a nice, bright "daylight" white light in my office, and these are putting out 1650 lumens of the REAL daylight white. I tried to buy some from eBay where I could get a discount on 60 bulbs, but the ones on eBay are non-branded Chinese knock-offs and are not as advertised. They put off a soft blue-hue light, similar to the blueish halogen headlights on the newer cars. These Great Value lights are the real deal, and if I could buy them cheaper by the dozen or the case I would stock up on them.

These are the REAL DEAL!

Pros:
Love the bright light of the daylight bulbs!
Cons: After replacing all the incandescent bulbs in my home with these Great Value (pun intended) bulbs, I thought I was smart and will save money in the long run while saving energy for our planet! WRONG. These Walmart brand LEF bulbs are the absolute worst. After a month or two they start flickering and drive you nuts. Last 2yrs %26 10 months 25,000hrs). I call BS. You have to keep replacing these expensive bulbs every 2-4 months. 
I took one of these bulbs apart and discovered what the problem was. The contacts for these bulbs look like a “T” the top of the “T” is one contact and the vertical portion is the other contact. As the bulb heats up the vertical portion bend away from the top portion which breaks the circuit and the bulb goes out. When it cools it makes contact again and the bulb comes back on. Great, you just bought a strobe light!
Walmart buyers should tell the manufacturer to correct this poor design. Shame on Walmart for not making their supplier live up to their 25,000hr  statement.
