I had the older model which worked for about 3 yrs, but then just quit. I descaled it and took care of it, so not sure why it broke? But was out of warranty, so decided to buy the new model. The main thing I would say, is it takes so long to "brew" a cup. I would have thought it could be faster. The water reserve does not have a "handle friendly" grip. (The old one did)

I have purchased 2 Versimo brewers and have the same problem. At some point, water starts leaking out of the bottom. I guess maybe something must rust through, but it has happened both times with my brewer after about a year of use. I think this is ridiculous and even though I'm happy with how the coffee it brews, I don't want to keep replacing the system each year. I'm giving it 2 stars because the coffee is so good, otherwise it would only get 1 star because of the system failure after 12 months or so.

This is my second Versimo and won't buy another

I bought the first machine, and the second machine, and several of the third machines for Christmas gifts... And one for myself, most of us are having trouble with our machines. Would like to go back to the second machine The latest model freezes up and will not run water through it to brew a cup of coffee. Two machines are doing this. ☹️. We have the second model machine in our office as well as our airstream... Still running great, but very disappointed in the third machine out the...newest model.

I would not recommend this machine...

Took the older model to the office and purchased the new model, the older model works so much better, cups keep sliding down into the container before I even have a chance of pulling down the lever, the quailitu of the americano is not even close to the same, and the biggest issue would having to get a knife to pry open the container when it's full of cups it gets stuck and very hard to open. Was so disappointed in it that we ended up being back the older model from the office and tossing out the new model all together. Total garbage...

False advertising

The verismo arrived and the pump on it did not work,  I had a friend order it at the same time and they had the same problem with their machine.  The box the product arrived in had several return addresses from prior people who had ordered this exact item before and returned it.  This is damaged goods and I am being sent something that does not work. Very disappointed with this whole product and process.  AND, I returned the product as directed, but it was returned to me (sender) with no directions on it other than “return to sender.”

Terrible all the way around.

Set it all up and the putting light up but the pump wont run - search for any hints on set up and tried all of them, nothing worked - returning. One post I saw said its a known issue

Arrived and doesn't work all. As other reviewers mentioned, the pump is defective and will not pump the water through the machine. This seller is knowingly selling defective goods.

Defective. DO NOT BUY

I can't believe people have trouble with this machine. I believe if the pod is place correctly into the receiver there is not way it can not operate correctly. Someone complained that the holder of used pods doesn't work when it is full. Then empty before it has that many used pods in it! I had the first model and have the second model, and I like the improvements, namely that I don't have to rinse it before each use. I customarily rinse it after every use but skip when I have a time limit. Having the option to skip rinsing is great.
