RICHMOND, Va., June 18 (Reuters) - Circuit City Stores Inc. on Tuesday said Chief Executive Officer Alan McCollough has been elected chairman of the company's board of directors, succeeding Richard Sharp, who retired from the consumer electronic retailer's board.
