You were a senior at Oceanview high. You were always the kid that got the good grades and did their homework and studied hard. 
You have great friends but you mainly are with your two best friends Chloe and Izzy. 
Tonight there was a football game to see which team is going to make it to the high school football team nationals. 
Your school was playing against their rival school Riverdale high. 
You were at your house with Chloe and Izzy getting ready for the game tonight. 
Later on you all leave and go to school for the game. 
Once you get to the the football field you see the boys practicing. 
You spot the team captain Niall Horan, warming up by kicking the ball into the goal.
 "Uh hello Y/N?" Izzy says waving her hand in front of your face.
"Um uh what?" You say turning to her.
"Got a thing for the blonde Irish kid down there," Izzy says wiggling her eyebrows.
You smile and turn away hiding you flushed cheeks.
"Aww Y/N has a crush on Niall" Chloe says.
"Shush guys the games starting," you say looking at the field.
You keep your eyes on Niall the entire game.
It was a timeout and each team separated to their coaches. You were watching Niall and he looks up in the crowd and sees you and smiles. You smile and hide your face embarrassed.
Niall winks at you making you giggle. 
Your friends went to the snack bar so they weren't here to say anything which lets relief wash over you. 
The teams go back to the field and your school has the ball. Niall kicks the ball around and kicks it to one of his teammates then he looks at you and smiles then he gets the ball back and kicks it into the goal scoring the last point for the end of the game.
Everyone in the crowd stands and cheers on Niall for scoring the last point for the game. Niall looks at you you and points to the trees. You understand what he's saying and you nod and smile at him. 
"Y/N are you ready to go?" Izzy says. "Actually I'll catch up with you all tomorrow just go without me" you say. "Okay," they both say and giggle clearly knowing what is going on.
Soon everybody is gone and you walk over to the trees where Niall pointed.
You sit by a tree and wait for Niall.
After a few minutes you see a tall blonde walking out with a huge smile on his face and a jersey in his hand.
"Hey Y/N" Niall says sitting next to you. 
"Wait how do you know my name?" you say confused. 
"How could I not know the most beautiful girl in the schools name?" Niall says smiling at you.
You giggle and hide your face.
"This is for you," Niall says handing you his jersey.
"Why are you giving me this," you ask holding it in your hand.
"It's for helping me score that last goal," Niall says and puts an arm around you.
You smile and hug him and say, "thanks Niall that's so sweet." 
"So do you wanna go out sometime? Like maybe tonight?" Niall asks nervously.
You smile and say, "of course I'd love to Niall."
"Great lets go" he says and grabs your hand.
