The Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) is the main political body through which the IPU's Member Parliaments adopt parliamentary resolutions on global matters. It plays a pivotal role in addressing issues which threaten peace, democracy and sustainable development. At the Assemblies, parliamentarians from around the world come together to exchange good practice and build bridges at the parliamentary level.
WHO proactively engages and participates at the different Assemblies, organizing events to position health as a central priority on the parliamentary agenda, providing technical support to IPU’s resolutions, and leveraging its global influence to support parliamentary work across the world.
Join us in exploring the remarkable journey of the WHO-IPU partnership, where health and democracy intersect to forge a better world.
