Description

A creeping Buttercup, growing in dappled shade, in woodland and in damp meadows.

The leaves and stalks are covered in fine hairs. The long stalked leaves often have white markings, one of the characteristics of this Buttercup. The flowering stem leaves are smaller.

Shiny, canary-yellow flowers, 5-petalled.

Palmate leaf has lobes radiating from a base point, Trifoliate with three leaflets. Lobed, serrated; stem leaves have three leaflets, each leaflet long, wider in the middle and serrated.
