Description
Hairless perennial. The stems are much branched.
Dry and rocky habitats.
Flowers
Flowers are tiny, dark purplish-red, with protruding stamens located at the lower part of the open mouth. Sepals green, lobed, with fine white serrated edging.
Leaves
Pinnatisect leaf is deeply lobed, almost to the central midrib. Lower: lobes almost to central midrib.
Upper: sometimes entire and small.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: in 2 parts.
