NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation.

This building was built for less than $14,000. Local merchants and workers performed much of the labor and contributed materials. In 1899, the city council donated the use of the upper rooms for the Grand Army of the Republic to meet. The post office found its new home here in 1900 and moved out in 1946. In 1972, a new city hall was constructed. Dave Rusch and Wesley Fenske purchased Old City Hall and used the fire station and second floor as display and storage space for Cline-Hanson Furniture. The lower level was rented out to the New London School District until 1981.

Resurveyed 2020. Update photo. Rehabilitated and adaptively reused for offices and housing circa 2000. DOE recommended.
