Rocket launches successfully at Wallops Island

WALLOPS ISLAND, Va. – Thursday morning’s “Live and Let Fly” mission launch by Nasa Wallops Flight Facility was a success.

According to NASA Wallops, the NROL-123 Mission was originally set to lift off around 2:40 a.m. in Virginia but was delayed. It successfully launched at approximately 3:30 a.m.

It’s the first launch for the NRO in the U.S. and the Rocket Lab’s 4th launch this year. The Wallops Visitor Center was not open for viewing, but there was an online livestream.
