Mike is one of Worksmart’s Non Executive Directors. Mike qualified as an architect and spent most of his career with W S Atkins Plc, the last ten years of which Mike was chief executive, then chairman. Since stepping down at W S Atkins, Mike has chaired a number of other companies including Civica Group, the UK based provider of specialist software, digital solutions and outsourcing services, VT Group Plc, the shipbuilding and support services company, Wembley National Stadium Ltd, NCP, Mouchel, Wyless Plc and Priory Group. Mike is currently chairman of Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, and a governor of Canford school. His outside interests are music and watercolour painting.
