- LeavesTufts of round basal leaves to 13 cm wide, dissected almost to base, final segments very narrow. Stem leaves smaller. Stalks to 15 cm or more long.

- Flowers1-3 flowers to 25 mm wide, up to 13 narrowly oval petals, on erect flowering stalk held above leaves. Fruit a round head, warty, beak on each fruit slender and reflexed under at the tip.
