I will always hold Master Link in the highest regard. When I first interacted with Master Link, it was obvious that he was the Chosen of the Goddess Hylia. To be Chosen as he was, I knew he was special, though I did not fully comprehend his extraordinary gifts until I began my journey with him.
Master Link is what humans call…compassionate. Through my observation, I have come to understand that compassion is the feeling of wanting to help others - no matter who they are or what your relation is to them. Master Link has compassion. Through our quest, he helped many despite the fact that his primary objective was to retrieve Zelda. It is through watching Master Link that I learned of this feeling, and began to try my best to understand other human emotions. Happiness, anger, sadness…Master Link experienced them all and he felt strongly for all those around him. Even those who were former enemies.
To have the ability to feel so strongly for friends, strangers, and enemies is truly a super human quality. I have not seen anyone with such compassion other than the Goddess Hylia.
I suppose I have been speaking for too long, but I want it to be clear that I believe Link to be an incredible human and I wish I could give more adequate thanks to him for his efforts.
