Phenol-Formaldehyde Resin is specially formulated for ablative applications. These are synthetic polymers by the reaction of Phenol or substituted Phenol with Formaldehyde. Phenolic resin is ideal for the production of circuit boards, laboratory counterparts, pool balls, and adhesives and coatings.
These resins possess 60-65% solid content and the solvent is ethanol. The resin is extensively demanded manufacturing prepregs based on carbon fabric that is broadly used in diverse aerospace, space and defense applications. We make these resins available in pale cream and brown (light & dark) colors.
