　 本邦各地，中国沿岸，北米太平洋岸，潮間帯の石の下，海藻の根元， 他動物の上（岡田ら 1965）， 北海道より九州にいたる各地の潮間帯の石の下，海藻の間（西村 1995）．
　 京都大学瀬戸臨海研究所付近で採集された テツイロナマコに付着（大島 1927）． 葉山の潮間帯転石海岸で採集された ヤツデヒトデの体表に付着（Nakamura Fujita 2004）．
