Little mantis, please confirm ID.
Hello,
i found a little mantis today in the LS for Bali. He is 25 mm big and i think it is a Chorisquilla tweediei. Roy can you confirm my ID? Here are some pics. Telson Thx

Chorisquilla hystrix...based on the telson and the transparent coloring...OMG I WANT THAT MANTIS...

It is a Chorisquilla, but definitely not C. tweediei, C. hystrix. or any other species that I know. There are 13 described species of Chorisquilla and I can't match this one with any of them. At first I thought it might be C. mehtae, but the color and size is wrong. Mark Erdmann knows the Indonesian Chorisquillas. I'll send the photos to him and see if he knows it. Roy |
